Grammy winner Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. At age 16, he was lead singer and guitarist for British band The Herd. At age 18, he co-founded one of the first super groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His session work includes collaborations with such legendary artists as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle and many others. His fifth solo album, the electrifying Frampton Comes Alive!, is one of the top-selling live records of all time.

Following the success of the 2011/2012 world tour celebrating the 35th Anniversary of his multi-platinum live album Frampton Comes Alive!, Peter Frampton is back on the road with Frampton’s Guitar Circus.

Kicking off in May, Frampton will perform several dates with five-time Grammy Award winner Robert Cray including Nashville, New York City and Austin. In July, five-time Grammy Award winner and Musicians Hall of Fame guitarist/vocalist Steve Lukather and praised blues artist Kenny Wayne Shepherd will open the show—performing in cities including San Antonio and Minneapolis. Then in August, Frampton will travel through Atlanta, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and more with acclaimed slide blues guitarist Sonny Landreth opening the show, followed by the legendary B.B. King.

The tour will feature the Grammy-winning musician performing with friends, celebrated guitarists and other special guests including Steve Cropper, Dean DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots), Don Felder (formerly of The Eagles), Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Vince Gill, David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Davy Knowles, Larry Carlton, Roger McGuinn (founder/lead guitarist of the BYRDS), Richard Thompson, Leslie West (Mountain), Vinnie Moore (UFO), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Rick Derringer, Larry Carlton and Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick).

Venue Details

***2014 Changes***
Starting with the 2014 season, all chairs brought into the amphitheater for seating on the lawn will be limited to a height of 12" from the ground to the seat. No chairs taller than this will be allowed. Also, the lawn area will no longer be separated into chair and blanket sections. Both chairs and blankets will be able to go anywhere on the lawn. Chairs are recommended to ensure maximum visibility from the lawn.
