Nuestra Fiesta Hispana
Join us this 23rd of July for the Days of ’47 celebration of our western heritage. While there won’t be a rodeo performance, there’s something for the whole family. Come for the Frontier Fun Zone activities that open at 1:00 PM, but be ready to dance when Los Malandrines takes the stage at 7:00 pm.
Country Music Stage
Every hour the country stage will feature new artists and great tunes. Located by the Pioneer Village.
The gift expo features western trade and sales exhibitors offering the best in western lifestyle goods for a cowboy’s Christmas in July. Open from 1-8 P.M. daily. To be a vendor at the Western Gift Expo click for an application.
Young Gun’s Arena
Lil Buckers- Come and watch tomorrow’s world champion cowboys and cowgirls as they compete daily in the Lil Buckers mini rough stock rodeo. Kids from 6-12 will ride wild miniature horses and bulls, just like the pros.
Mutton Busting- Kids can compete for the chance to make it to the mutton busting semifinals. The top six wool riders will advance to the bright lights and compete in the new stadium during the professional rodeo competition. Action is held every 45 minutes at the Young Gun’s arena just east of the new stadium.
Native American Village
In the heart of the fan zone, take a walk through Native American history where your family can witness three authentic Lakota Tribe families as they demonstrate life on the prairie. Authentic teepees, tribal dances, and food preparations are all a part of this unique slice of Utah Western culture.
Experience life on the pioneer trail. Families who were a part of the 1997 reenactment of the wagon trail from Mississippi to Utah will be on hand to interact with the fans while displaying handmade tools, custom weaving, pioneer cooking, and a complete pioneer medical camp.
Mountain Men Trading Camp
This authentic trading camp will offer the chance to learn from real frontiersmen. Fans can view, handle and purchase genuine handmade custom tools, blankets and everything a true mountain man would need to tackle the harsh conditions of the Utah terrain.
Tiny Tots Petting Zoo
This free exhibit allows the entire family to spend some quality time with their favorite animals. Located on the plaza grass north of the Grand Building and Western Gift Expo.
For only $3, kids 12 and under can take a ride on their favorite pony.

Days of ’47 Rocky Mountain Livestock Show
This all new youth livestock show and jackpot show boasts over $50,000 in cash and prizes. Come see prize goats, sheep and beef cattle on display as youth from around the region sharpen their showmanship skills with their summer’s show animals. Open daily in the livestock barns and show arena.

Come and get your cowboy on with free mechanical bulls, draft horse hitch display and view the amazing display of Komatsu Equipment just to name a few of the free exhibits and fun open daily in front of the new Days of ’47 Stadium.
