The stadium made its debut on March 24, 2005. The 2,500 seat stadium also has room for 2,500 more fans on the grass berm down the third base line and in left field.
It boasts both home and visitor clubhouses and batting cages, a Gold's Gym inside the stadium and a state of the art scoreboard that make it one of the top college baseball facilities in the nation. Beyond the left field wall, the Utah Valley University campus and the Wasatch Mountains provide the park with a beautiful backdrop.
In the summertime, the stadium is home to the Orem Owlz, the Pioneer League rookie team for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Owlz, formerly the Provo Angels, began play in the Summer of 2005 and were a hit for baseball fans throughout the valley. In 2005, the park received the government and institutional project award.
